Well i deleted a comment attempting to edit it but apparently i cant repost again =/ So i figured i would post here, otherwise my comment would seem a waste ^^;; Commenting on Kurayami:

Perhaps to save the axe-cutoff, you could have added a rubble-ish effect at the bottom (currently it looks like a straight line). The blood (i think) was a good try at covering it up, but i feel it still looked somewhat planar.

The other thing that i noticed was how dull the red ribbon was. Perhaps that was the style of this wallpaper (dark and all) but it still seemed somewhat off to me~~~ Perhaps more shadowing/glaze on the ribbon in a way similar to what you did with hair/outfit.

Granted this is still better than anything i can do ;)

edit (couldnt find an edit function ._.) For what its worth, i still loved the dark tones \o/
